Airy, yet intimate and comfortable
The Clifton room is an airy, yet intimate and comfortable space with a kitchenette attached. It can seat 60 people and is perfect for a small reception, party or seminar. You could have reception drinks in here after your civil ceremony in the Council Chambers, or maybe set up a chill out zone for the children if you are hiring the whole building and having your formal reception upstairs in our Ballroom. For seminars or meetings, there is ample space in the kitchen to cater for morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea. It can also be hired by local clubs, societies and our local community for a variety of uses. Recently renovated the room is a lovely medium space to hire. All of our spaces in the Guildhall are licensed for Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies.
